While returning home from Tokyo today, I encountered a group of students on the train who had just finished their entrance exams for public high schools.
Although I was not familiar with these students, I looked at their faces, a mixture of relief and excitement, I couldn’t help but want to say “Good job!” to them.
To all the exam takers throughout the country, please know that your efforts have been remarkable!
Entrance exams are not only a momentous event, but also the start of a new journey in life.
今日、都内から戻る途中、電車の中で公立高校入試を終えたばかりの学生さんたちに出会いました。
知らない子たちでしたが、興奮とほっとした気持ちが入り混じったような表情を見て、思わず「お疲れ様！」と声をかけたくなりました。
日本中の受験生の皆さん、本当に良く頑張りました！
